This is the first checkpoint in the second semester. It is an opportunity to evaluate if your child is on track while there is significant time left in the semester to make a correction.
If you are concerned, consider these questions:

• Is their academic schedule overloaded?
• Is their sports/activities schedule too hectic?
• Are they signed up for too many exams this spring?
• Are they working too many hours at a part-time job?
• Do they have enough structure for studying?
• Have they fallen behind in a subject?
